Here is one of the early prototypes I made with the idea to make the blue collar work cloths that also monitors the wearer. Just to test the idea, I made couple of gloves prototypes that is made of blue worker’s cloths material.
The sensing works fine, but the material is quite tough and un-stretchy that it is not the ideal material for a gloves. The sleeve also contains bend sensor on the elbow, and this works very well.
I tried to add some element (pocket) to it so it has the feeling of the working cloths, but I am not sure if this intention works so well. I got the comment that it looks like the gloves used when they examine the cow stomach in the farms.
