    Battery Snap Pouches

Leather pouches for various size batteries that extend the positive and negative power supply to male and female snap connectors. The punched holes for stitching the pouches together makes opening and closing the pouch to exchange the battery or debugging quicker and easier.

These battery pouches were made as part of the leather continuity meter.

    CR2032 3V Coin-Cell Pouch

The electrical connections between the metal snaps and the metal surfaces of the coin-cell battery are achieved through the tight fit of the pouch, and they are not very stable if there is any pull on the snaps that causes them to lift off the surface of the battery. This type of connection works best when there is pressure on the battery.

    LiPo 3.7V Pouch

The connections from the leads of the LiPo battery are soldered directly to the copper conductive fabric through which the metal snaps are pierced. The weakest point of this connection is the solder joint between the wire and the copper conductive fabric.
