Please join us for an evening of wine, cheese and e-textiles on Thursday 25th January 2018 as part of CTM Vorspiel.
Doors will open at 19:00. At 19:30 there will be an artist talk by Maurin Donneaud, followed by Maurin performing his eTextile.org instrument and Facile Gold performing his Discolele.


eTextile.org
Transforming textiles into an intuitive way to interact with computers. This project is part of an electronic textiles research on HCI gesture interaction that was started in 2005.

Maurin Donneaud
Industrial designer and independent researcher Maurin Donneaud will present his work on computational textiles in the field of electronic music an open source technologies. Why and how a textile can be use as an interface to compose and play electronic music. This presentation will be illustrated by a small performance followed by public experimentation.

Facile Gold
Facile Gold is a multimedia artist playing the ukulele. Together with Kobakant, they’ve developed a new instrument : the Discolele, which turns the performer and his ukulele into a connected discoball.

Xavier Antoinet (aka Facile Gold)
32 years old, lives in Berlin, works between Germany and France.
Graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (2010), Arles, France.
Gratuated of a Master degree in Contemporary History “China and its people through the eye of western photographers 1884-1937” essay directed by Pr Jacques Weber (2007), Université de Nantes, France.
Founding Member of the Anachronique Symposium Committee (2010).
